When should I book my session?
Im currently booking a month ahead, so schedule as soon as you can!
I am pregnant. When should I book my maternity session?
Your maternity session will take place around 34 weeks and it is never too soon to book!
When should I book my newborn session?
It is never too early to book a newborn session. An estimated date will be set once your retainer is paid, a solid session date is set as soon as your baby is born and your reserved newborn session is to take place within 20 days of baby’s actual date of birth. If you are given an induction or c-section date, the actual session date can be booked in advance. The absolute BEST time to take newborn photos is within the first 15 days of life. As long as Mommy is feeling ready, the younger the baby the better . Older newborns tend not to sleep as soundly and don’t “curl” as a younger newborn does and newborn acne and colic may flare up at around 1.5-2 weeks of age, as well.
How do I book a session?
Simply contact me by phone, facebook or via the website contact form to discuss your session needs. Once a date has been agreed on you will receive a $50 non refundable retainer invoice which will be applied to your session total and is required to secure your booking.
Where will our session take place?
Either in my pampa home studio or at a pre arranged outdoor location.
How long will our session take?
Most Family orientated sessions are usually 30 -45 minutes depending on the ages of the children involved with the exception of the newborn session which can take anything up to four hours.
When can we expect to view our images?
A sneak peak will be posted 2 or 3 days following your session and the full viewing will be scheduled within 3 weeks of the shoot where you will be able to view all of your hand edited and carefully processed images and take possession of your digital images. I select and edit the best from a session and do not display or give out unedited images.
How soon will we receive the prints we’ve ordered?
Prints will be available for collection 2 weeks after payment has been received in full.
Can we order Prints from you even after our proofing gallery is down?
Of course! Just let me know you want to order prints and we can meet in person or order via e-mail.
What should we wear? How should we prepare? and more..
Once your deposit has been received a full what to wear guide will be emailed to you to assist with clothing choices and colour schemes.
